Couch did NOT marry Crotty circa 1850
In honor of Seneca, Illinois 150th celebration, The Story of Seneca, was presented to the people by the Seneca Historical Guild. On page 2-17, my error was not completing the art work. My apology to the Crotty family. I sent the above artwork for honoring the Couch family. My intention was to say that the Couch family came to the town of Crotty in the 1850s. My records show the family arrived in 1856. The first person looked at the page and remarked that the Couch and Crotty family were married. MY MISTAKE. The Couch family in a pedigree chart would look like the chart below. Elisha's son Eugene had eight children. These children married into the Woodin, Edwards, Schuler and Culbertson families.
