Sunday's Obituary - WOODIN, Ruth (Monroe) Beldon (1906-1992)



Ruth (Monroe) Beldon Woodin 1906-1992
Mrs. Ruth Beldon Woodin, 86, Marseilles, died Sunday evening, Oct. 11, at Rivershores Living Center in Marseilles.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Seals-Campbell Chapel in Marseilles. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Farm Ridge. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Mrs. Woodin was born May 22, 1906, in Deer Park Township to William and Elsie (Studebaker) Monroe. She married Basil Beldon in 1926. He died in 1963. She later married Walter Woodin who died in 1983. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Beldon of Marseilles and William Beldon of Manasses, Va.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, James, August, Cecil and Robert, all of Fresno, Calif; and a sister, Mrs. Carl (Jean) Stemlar of Iron Mountain, Mich.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara McNabb; a great-granddaughter; four sisters; and two brothers.
