Laura Eleanor Armstrong COUCH died 11 March1931. A transcription error occurred between the filed death certificate from the Illinois State Archives and the certified copy.
In the Medical certificate of death, a "3-" appears. This may be for $3 or some other notation. In my certified copy the "3-" was transcribed as death date. This makes for an interesting document as the doctor stated she was last seen alive on 11 March 1931.
If possible, always try to find an original document. We all make mistakes.
