Mildred N. Mickel
(nee Newton)
Age 91, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2003 at Hospitality House in Bloomington, Il. Late of Bloomington and Lockport.
She is survived by her son Emanuel J. Mickel, Jr. Five grandchildren Larry Schuler, Mickie Schuler, Holly Schuler, Tracy Schuler and Amy Batson.
She retired from Caterpillar as a secretary after 15 years of services. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lockport.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Louna (McDavid) Newton, her brother Milton Newton of Lemont and her sisters Agnes Stevens of Lemont, Opal Newton of Chicago and Alma Jones of Independence, Missouri.
Family will receive friends at the Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, Wednesday, August 27, 2003 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Services Thursday, August 28, 2003 in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Lora Zink officiating. Interment to follow Lockport City Cemetery.
