 1900 Christmas Album, a gift to family members from Carrie Couch, 1856-1927, photographer. Carrie is Nettie's aunt. This photo book belonged to Nettie Ethel Couch Schuler. The photos include her family and friends. Each photo has been identified if possible. Dates are approximate. Some photos were added after 1900.

Sunday's Obituary - CULBERTSON, Mildred Angeline COUCH(1889-1970)

MILDRED CULBERTSON

Mrs. Mildred Culbertson, 81, formerly of 815 Madison St. in Lockport, died Sunday (Aug. 23, 1970) at the Salem Home for the Aged in Joliet.
Mrs. Culbertson was born in Seneca. She lived in Lockport for 18 years after living in Joliet.
Mrs. Culbertson was employed by the Boston Store in Joliet before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents, Eugene and Laura (Armstrong) Couch, and three sisters.
Mrs. Culbertson is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Goodale Funeral Home in Lockport with the Rev. William Boldt officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

CULBERTSON, Mildred-nee Couch, age 81 years, formerly of 815 Madison Street, Lockport. August 23, 1970 at the Salem Home for the Aged. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry (1944), her parents, Eugene and Laura (Armstrong) Couch; three sisters, Eugenia Woodin, Elsie Edwards, and Nettie Schuler. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Remains are at the Goodale Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. with numerous Reverend William Boldt, formerly of St. John's English Lutheran Church of Joliet, officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.

Ralph E. Edwards, 73, Klamath Falls, Ore., died Sunday evening at his home following an extended illness.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Davenport Funeral Home, Klamath Falls.
Mr. Edwards was born in Marseilles, to John F. and Eslie Edwards. He was educated in the Marseilles schools and was employed by National Biscuit Co. for 25 years. He married Alice Louise Goode on July 10, 1937, in Morris. They moved in June of 1960 to Covina, Calif. where he worked for the Covina school system until his retirement in 1977. They then moved to Klamath Falls and he was a member of the Faith Christian Church and was very active until recently.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. William (Lillian) Decker and Mrs. Jerilyn Winfield, both of Klamath Falls; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
